Prevalent Issues

Europe currently suffers from the deforestation, carbon emissions and many other environmental devastations. Though they are well-developed countries that are able to sustain a more eco-friendly environment, there is a debate on whether or not their actions can be affective any longer. For example, the Kyoto Protocol was achieved but the carbon emissions still remained a detrimental factor to the environment. So, there is a wonder if there should be another protocol in order enforce an even lower carbon emission rate. The EU has managed a cleansing and regulation of the air, successfully. The extremes of heat and drought have also affected areas of Europe, and many people have no access to fresh water at times. There is also the issue of alien species infesting the natives and causing a decline in biodiversity.

Immigration:

Europe is a magnet for people, especially those seeking education, which causes a problem when immigrants swarm in believing that they will get the better life. England for one, is an example of this. Many immigrants want their education completed there, and this poses a problem when too many immigrants believe they will be able to learn.

European Union:
A few countries do not want to associate themselves with the European Union. Most of these are originally were in the Soviet Union and are feeling tension from the Cold War. Despite this dispute between the EU and these people, they still negotiate with treaties and overall lawmaking.
